These terms apply when you use bivia at playbivia.com. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

The game

bivia is a free daily quiz game. Each day brings a new round of seven questions with two answers each. We work hard to make every fact accurate, but we can't guarantee that every question is error-free. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

Fair play

• Play honestly. Don't use bots, scripts or tricks to answer questions, change scores, or create fake players.
• Don't try to break, overload or get around the game's security.
• We may remove scores, names or players that break these rules, and we may reset leaderboards if needed.

Leaderboard names

Names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual or impersonate someone else. We may change or remove any name at our discretion.

Purchases

Some optional extras may be offered for a fee, such as extra name changes or a voluntary payment to support the game. Our order process is run by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, who is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles customer service inquiries and returns related to payment. Purchases are digital, are delivered to your player straight away, have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Your progress

Your progress is linked to a random ID stored in your browser (or to your Google account if you sign in). If you clear your browser data without moving to another device first, your progress may be lost and we may not be able to recover it.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop the game, its features or these terms at any time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when the terms change. Continuing to play after changes means you accept them.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of game progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
